West Vancouver Stories: The Pandemic Project took place during COVID-19. This project, West Vancouver Stories: Post Pandemic will document how life has changed, what has stayed the same, what has happened to our community over the past 3 years, what we have learned about ourselves and the world, and what our “new normal” has become. Some of the same writers have committed to the project, in addition to many new writers from the community.
Four weeks of writing (2 live sessions at West Van memorial library, and one Zoom session because I got COVID – the irony:). Then followed two rounds of partner work for rewrites.
On April 3rd, the library held a book launch that was very successful.
It’s always so incredible to see the connections between people that are created through sharing stories.
