This project saw Silver Harbour Seniors’ Centre provide free, delivered meals to 405 low income seniors in North Vancouver, most of whom have chronic health conditions, cognitive decline, mobility challenges or other barriers to healthy eating. In addition to a nutritious meal, seniors were also provided with information on other services available – all at a time when seniors were being discouraged from leaving home for COVID safety reasons.
