Outdoor Library boxes and Compassion Cards

A group of teenage girls got together to practice their carpentry skills as well to manage and lead this project all under adult supervision. The act of giving and receiving books and creating a place where people can drop off their books and maybe run into another community member doing the same thing creates opportunities to connect.

The outdoor library boxes are placed in high visibility areas in the community.

The girls also drew compassion cards for our seniors who are isolated due to Covid-19.
