Harvest Project Spend Down Fund

The Harvest Project Fund supports the activities of the Harvest Project in the communities of North and West Vancouver. Donations made to this non-permanent fund will be used to support Harvest Project’s activities and programs.

Extending a hand up, not a hand out. The Harvest Project works to break the poverty cycle and restore people to healthier lives. They provide client-care coaching and counsel, grocery and clothing support, emergency drop-in help, and the Clothes For Change thrift shop to people across Metro-Vancouver’s North Shore challenged by family break-down, illness, job loss, and poverty.

GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE

The Client Care Program ‘extends a hand up’ to residents who find themselves on the margins – reaching out with a safety net that brings tangible, life-changing care. We work with our clients in a coaching relationship, along with providing no-cost grocery and nutrition support, clothing through our retail thrift store Clothes for Change, financial coaching, art therapy and short-term no-interest loans through our rent bank, as well as other goods and services through our network of external community partners.

When you donate through the West Vancouver Foundation, by Dec 31, 2024, your donation will be matched by the Ian and Rosemary Mottershead Fund, up to $10,000.
