Established as a Donor Advised Fund by Dierdre and Darrell Ert in 2020, grants from this fund will address areas of greatest need within the community with a special focus on projects related to the elderly and mental health. Dierdre and Darrell are longtime West Vancouver residents.
Darrell joined the West Vancouver Foundation Board of Directors in 2020 and Dierdre joined the Community Grants Committee that same year. They see being part of the West Vancouver Foundation as a great privilege and opportunity to give back to a community that has allowed their growing family to flourish and excel. Their hope is to influence other families to embrace the spirit of stewardship and make a difference in their own backyards.
