There is a special place in West Vancouver, built in 1982, with west coast modern architecture designed by renowned architect Arthur Erickson and landscape designer Cornelia Oberlander. It is on a seven acre natural setting with 20 single family residences carefully integrated into the setting. It is surrounded by greenbelt with a central community open space in the form of a large wildflower meadow. This space has been preserved by residents who contribute financially to its upkeep.
This summer, the residents (many that were new to the neighbourhood) came together, with the help of a modest Neighoburhood Small Grant, to meet one another and celebrate this beautiful setting.
The event was a great success.
We are all committed to preserving this beautiful piece of nature and history.
Meadow's resident
I have lived here two years and have never met you!
It was amazing the things in common that were discovered amongst neighbors.
