Elsa was born near Milan, Italy and shortly after WWII sailed to Canada. Gardening was one of Elsa’s passions, and supporting the SPCA and LGH was important to her. She was a long time member of the West Van Senior Centre, and was a volunteer for a number of societies. Elsa left a gift in her will, to the West Vancouver Foundation, designating the funds to be used to enhance facilities at the West Vancouver Senior’s Activity Centre.
