The West Vancouver Seniors’ Activity Centre is home to a wide range of programs, services, and amenities geared toward 55+ adults—from the Garden Side Café and SACS on 21st Shop, to rehabilitation, fitness, arts, learning, computer programs, and much more, this vibrant facility has it all.
The Seniors’ Activity Centre (SAC) Legacy Fund was established by the SAC volunteer Board to accept gifts from supporters of the Centre and will be used for projects outside of the District of West Vancouver’s budget. The SAC Board works closely with Seniors’ Activity Centre staff in achieving program, facility, and equipment enhancements, welcoming social ambiance, excellent food service delivery and advocating for supportive seniors services in West Vancouver.
Past projects include:
- Seniors’ Activity Feasibility and Needs Assessment Study
- Expanded shuttle bus operations
- Shortbread and Sherry holiday event
Future potential projects include:
- High Tea at the Seniors’ Activity Centre
- Member appreciation events
- Equipment upgrades
