Bob Fairweather initially set this fund up through Vancouver Foundation in 2007 to support the Robert Fairweather Bursary for Men’s Varsity Hockey at Carleton University. The fund was recently (2026) transferred to the West Vancouver Community Foundation. The fund has now expanded its’ granting to include the areas of greatest local need based on the West Vancouver Community Foundation’s VitalSigns research and recommendations made by the Foundation’s grants committee.

-All donations to this fund will be permanently endowed.
