Project Summary
The West Vancouver Baden Powell Trail project is an ongoing effort to maintain the safety and accessibility of the trail system for our community, increase enjoyment, as well as preserve the trail’s rustic feel with minimal structures.
Project Highlights
We rehabilitated approximately 1200 meters of the Baden Powell trail south of Blue Gentian lake. The work included repair of boardwalk/foot bridge, fallen trees, improved drainage channels, relocation of gravel, dirt and rocks to build up the trail base and improve water flow.This portion of the trail continues to be used by the Knee Knacker Ultra marathon race yearly where there as been good feedback.
