Youth Philanthropy Council Donation Page
The Youth Philanthropy Council has 2 funds to choose from:
Youth Philanthropy Council Endowment Fund
The Caring Community Youth Fund is an endowment fund. The traditional staple of community foundations, permanent endowments generate investment income, year after year. Gifts to an endowment fund are held in perpetuity, while a portion of the earned income can be drawn down in the form of grants. The permanence of a capital restricted fund is both appealing and reassuring to donors and boards of directors who seek the enduring value of a dedicated source of income to support the organization they love, today and forever.
Youth Philanthropy Council Spend Down
With a spend-down fund, the capital is invested in our investment pool with the intention to grant it all out in agreed-upon intervals until the fund is fully depleted. This type of vehicle may benefit donors who currently have significant but uncommitted assets and/or are mainly interested in disbursing during their lifetimes.
