Established by the Humphries family (husband Gerry Humphries, and daughters Nicole Voorhoeve and Christina Humphries) in 2016 in memory of Linda Humphries. The Musica Nautica Fund supports music programming and music education in West Vancouver.
A natural leader and mentor, Linda’s inspiring talents touched everyone she met. From early days spent accompanying the choir at Irwin Park School, to chairing the Board of the West Vancouver Community Arts Council, co-founding Celesta Girls’ Choir, leading sing-alongs with the Silk Purse Singers at seniors’ homes on the North Shore and playing the piano and singing, both in the community and at home. Her artistic spirit will be missed.
