COVID-19 Pandemic Action at the Foundation
This is the time for our community to stay connected - even though that means at a distance and virtually at this time. The West Vancouver Community Foundation continues to support the community and residents on the North Shore and West Vancouver, to help keep everyone safe, connected and healthy.
Here are some of the various activities happening at the West Vancouver Foundation and on the North Shore.
COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund
West Vancouver Foundation launched the North Shore Emergency Response Fund to support front-line services and programs designed for the most vulnerable populations in our communities. Already we have reached $100,000 of our $500,000 goal, to support the first wave of grants.
Help in the Community
The priority now is for our community,and the world, to stay home, stay safe and stay healthy. Although some organizations have paused their operations, and others are extremely busy, there are many services available in our community - especially to those most vulnerable. COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant
The North Shore COVID-19 Emergency Response Grant is for charitable organizations serving those affected on the North Shore by the COVID-19 pandemic. The priorities are to organizations providing support to North Shore residents for food, shelter and virtual social connections. Read more>>
