Nancy started her investing career in 1983 after graduation from UBC and has been with RBC Dominion Securities since 1996, currently as Vice-President & Wealth Advisor. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and has her Financial Management Advisor designation.

Nancy is an active volunteer and has served the municipality of West Vancouver on the Police Board, the Financial Advisory Commission, the West Vancouver Finance and Audit Committee as well as on the Fiscal Sustainability Task Force.

Carolyn retired at the end of 2015 from a busy law practice in Vancouver which focused on business matters with an emphasis on succession planning, wills and estates. Carolyn has lived on the North Shore since 1975, residing the last 37 years in West Vancouver. Her two children attended West Vancouver schools and continue to live on the North Shore with their families.

Carolyn's past board experiences include the West Vancouver United Church and the Vancouver Club.

A long-time resident of the community, Geoff retired as Superintendent of Schools for West Vancouver in 2011, following a distinguished career in the public sector. Retirement has allowed Geoff to become an active volunteer in the community, having served as a trustee of the Memorial Library Board, a Director of the Memorial Library Foundation and Captain of the Gleneagles Golf Club. Named West Vancouver's "Citizen of the Year" in 2015, Geoff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UBC and an MBA from the University of London.

Dave is currently Director, Senior Private Wealth Management with UBS Bank (Canada) and UBS Investment Management Canada. He has been in the investment management field since 1988, working with pensions, endowments and foundations, Aboriginal trusts and private clients.

Commitment to community has been an important tenet of Dave's career. He currently serves on the Kay Meek Arts Centre Board and has served with numerous local and National associations and not-for-profit boards including the BC SPCA - Lower Mainland (1990-2003) and the CPBI - Pacific Regional Council since 2007.

Dave and his wife were both born-and-bred in West Vancouver and are proud to be raising their family here.

John Parker is a Partner at Grant Thornton, Cloud Accounting Practice.  Previously a CPABC Public Practice Committee Member, John has served as Director for numerous organizations, including the Island Savings Credit Union, where he was Chair of the Audit Committee. John is also involved in the community through SFU Mentors in Business, where he acts as a mentor to an SFU Business student and is currently working with his sixth cohort of students.

 

When not at work, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, as well as playing golf, hiking and skiing.

Mark is one of the top real estate agents for Remax Western Canada. He serves as a member of both the West and North Vancouver Chamber of Commerces and is a mentor to young business students at Capilano University.

Naomi settled her family in West Vancouver in 2017 after a long global journey with her investment career. Naomi started as an investment consultant in London after graduating from Loughborough University. She has worked in London, Australia and most notably over 20 years in Hong Kong. She is now principal at Eckler Ltd in Vancouver, providing investment advise to pension plans, insurance funds and to foundation and endowments. Naomi is also Co-Chair of the Vancouver chapter for RoomtoRead, a global charity supporting literacy in developing countries, and especially sponsoring girls through school. Whilst in Hong Kong, Naomi was actively involved with the Women's Foundation, mentoring younger female executives, and supporting the Chinese University of Hong Kong in connecting students with the industry.

Gordon is the President and CEO of Humanity Financial Management Inc. As a Chartered Professional Accountant and CA for almost 25 years, Gordon loves helping individuals and organizations that are trying to make the world a better place. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia.

Gordon’s career includes positions with Smythe Ratcliffe and Ernst & Young. Gordon then spent 10 years as COO of two regional law firms. 

Gordon currently serves as a Board Director of Vantage Point and sits on the Executive Committee of non-profit CPA's. Past Board experience includes Reconciliation Canada, the Ambleside-Dundarave Business Improvement Association, the West Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, the Institute of Professional Bookkeepers of Canada and the Vancouver Association of Legal Administrators (now BCLMA).

Gordon has lived in West Vancouver with his family since 1993 and was a student at Hillside Secondary between 1978-1981.

Sara is a business professional and a dynamic leader with passion for social and community impact. Sara is a certified project management professional with over 10 years of experience in project management, business analysis, risk assessment, strategic partnership and stakeholder management. She is a graduate of the Sauder School of Business at UBC, and has worked in both private and public sector. Sara is passionate about serving her community and giving back, and has volunteered for various not-for -profits organizations in the past and served on the board as the VP of Operations for PMI West Coast Chapter.

Paul has lived in West Vancouver since 1983, raising his three children in the Caulfield area. He has been involved in a range of business activities from real estate development to industrial parts distribution. Paul is trained in communication and leadership, volunteering as a facilitator and mentor at Vantage Point and Futurpreneur Canada.
