Created in 2015 in memory of Daphne by her husband John Nicholson, income from this permanent fund supports health and wellness programs, grief counselling or programs for the bereaved, with a particular focus on helping children who have lost a parent.
The fund will also annually provide an award (minimum $250) to be paid to the post-secondary institution of a graduating secondary school student who is a member of the West Vancouver Field Hockey Club.
Please note:
- In order to properly recognize all donors for their contributions, West Vancouver Foundation will share your name and donation amount with the fund representative unless you have checked the anonymous box on the donation form.
- All donations to this fund will be permanently endowed.
